One framework to unify CMS, POS, and mobile

Architected a modular "Master Product" framework unifying product logic across CMS, POS, and mobile — cutting feature development time significantly.

Context & Constraint

Product logic was duplicated across three surfaces, so every feature shipped three times and maintenance was painful.

Decision + Tradeoff

I designed a single source of product logic all three surfaces consumed. It meant an upfront refactor cost and coordination overhead before anyone saw a new feature — paid back in long-term velocity and a maintenance surface that stopped fighting itself.

Outcome

  • Faster feature development across all three surfaces
  • Simpler, unified maintenance surface
  • Separately shipped merchant self-onboarding that removed manual onboarding work entirely
